Kids Against Hunger charity competition runs through Oct. 31; winner receives Melt gift card

The Case Western Reserve University chapter of Kids Against Hunger is hosting a competition to see who can “raise the most rice” through a contest on freerice.com. On the website, individuals can answer trivia questions; for every correct answer, Freerice donates 10 grains of rice through the United Nations World Food Programme to help end hunger.

To participate in the competition, create an account on the Kids Against Hunger Cleveland page.

The person who has raised the most rice as of Oct. 31 at 11:59 p.m. will win a $25 gift card to Melt Bar and Grilled.

All participants are invited to a celebration, which will include free food, on Thursday, Nov. 1, at 7:30 p.m. in the Thwing Center Atrium.
