The annual Kelvin Smith Library resources lab for STEM and entrepreneurship offers a new hybrid option this year, with expanded opportunities and access via online sessions plus several hybrid/in-person sessions. The sessions are designed to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of research. Students will have the opportunity to learn about resources for their field or interest, get tips and tricks on how to use these resources and get a chance to win prizes.
The sessions feature focused research sources from top publishers, with demonstrations in short 45-minute sessions that also include time for questions and answers with each presenter. Through these sessions, students will learn more about databases and journals on engineering, chemistry, health and medicine, and in business, industry, and market research, from publishers and Kelvin Smith Library’s research subject specialists. A session on finding life sciences and biomedical literature in PubMed will be featured by the Cleveland Health Sciences Library.
Session dates are Sept. 28, 29, 30 and Oct. 6, 12, 20 and 27.
Details and registration for each session are available online and via CampusGroups.
