Kelvin Smith Library, UCITE to host digital tools workshop for faculty

University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education (UCITE) and the Freedman Center will host four workshops for faculty about the Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship. These interactive workshops, which will take place on consecutive Fridays in the Freedman Center at Kelvin Smith Library, are designed to empower faculty to incorporate CWRU’s digital tools and resources into their classroom experience. Specifically, faculty will:

  • Learn how to use text mining and data visualization tools to quickly identify trends or themes in large bodies of text;
  • Participate in activities that will develop their qualitative and quantitative analytical skills;
  • Develop techniques for communicating with data; and
  • Gain strategies for incorporating digital tools and resources into the classroom.

While sessions are geared toward faculty, students and staff are also welcome to attend. Register for the following workshops through Kelvin Smith Library’s CampusGroups page:
