Visit Kelvin Smith Library’s second floor from today, Oct. 25 through Sunday, Oct. 31 to learn about Open Access (OA) during Open Access Week, a global annual event now entering its tenth year. Collect an OA Week button, take a flier, and ask a librarian about equitable access to open knowledge on the campus of Case Western Reserve University and beyond.
Open Access to information–the free, immediate, online access to the results of scholarly research, and the right to use and re-use those results as needed–has direct and widespread implications for academia, medicine, science, industry and society.
