The Humanities Pathway at the School of Medicine invites the Case Western Reserve University community for a poetry reading with Kate Daniels, an accomplished author, poet and academician.
The reading will be held Thursday, Sept. 19, at 4 p.m. in Samson Pavilion, Room 176.
Daniels chairs the Department of English at Vanderbilt University, holds an endowed chair and has won many distinguished awards for her work. She wrote about her experience with her son’s addictive disorder in Three Syllables Describing Addiction and In the Months of My Son’s Recovery. Her readings and the discussion following the event will relate to this topic.
