Jurassic Park Extravaganza

The university community is invited to Jurassic Park Extravaganza to celebrate the 25-year anniversary of the original Jurassic Park.

The event will take place Friday, Oct. 12, starting at 5 p.m. in Strosacker Auditorium. There will be food, fossil casts, a talk by Cleveland Museum of Natural History paleontologist Lee Hall, games, prizes and three screenings of Jurassic Park at 7 p.m., 9:30 p.m. and midnight.

The events before the movie screenings will be free. The CWRU Film Society will sell tickets to the screenings; pre-order tickets on CampusGroups. All events are open to the public.

The event is co-sponsored by the Institute for the Science of Origins, the Origins major program, the evolutionary biology program, the Origins Club and the CWRU Film Society.
