Court: Religious groups exempt from bias laws

Cleveland Jewish News: The Supreme Court recently ruled that religious institutions are free to hire and fire spiritual leaders without government interference. “It seems to me many religious employers will use this decision as a basis for asserting a broad exemption from employment laws, even though this decision doesn’t say that in so many words,” said Jonathan Entin, professor of law and political science.
