Join the Undergraduate Indian Students Association in celebrating fall with dancing and music

uISA flyerThe Undergraduate Indian Students Association (uISA) will hold its annual Navratri Garba event Saturday, Oct. 26, from 7 to 11 p.m. in Adelbert Gymnasium.

Navratri Garba celebrates the coming of fall and the fall harvest with dancing and music. The event will feature many different styles of dancing including Garba, Raas and Bhangra.

The event is free and open to all Case Western Reserve students. Attendees are encouraged to wear Indian clothes and to bring Indian clothes for their friends who may not have any.

Free food will be provided.

The association also will host two dance workshops for students to learn specific dance moves.

The workshops will be held Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 8 to 10 p.m. in t he Veale Convocation, Athletic and Recreation Center’s Multipurpose Room and Thursday, Oct. 24, from 9 to 11 p.m. in the House 6 Great Room.

No experience is required.
