The LGBT Center will host two upcoming opportunities for the university community to complete Safe Zone training.
The Safe Zone Program is a visible network of volunteers who are committed to creating a community of respect and dignity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning students, staff and faculty. Safe Zone makes it possible to easily identify individuals who are dedicated to an environment in which all people are free to thrive academically, professionally and personally.
The sessions will be held:
- Wednesday, March 2, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Tinkham Veale University Center first floor conference room; and
- Friday, March 11, from 1 to 4 p.m. in Adelbert Hall, Room M2.
Registration for these sessions is required and available online.
Customized Safe Zone workshops also are available to departments or groups. To make arrangements, email Liz Roccoforte, director of the LGBT Center, at ecr19@case.edu.
