The Center for International Affairs is looking for individuals interested in joining the working group responsible for planning and producing International Education Week 2014, which is Nov. 17-21.
International Education Week is a worldwide celebration of the benefits of international education and global exchange. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and Department of Education promotes programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn and exchange experiences in the United States.
The working group, led by the Center for International Affairs, will develop a variety of exciting and informative events for faculty, staff, students and community members. The center hopes to have each school represented in some way to help celebrate significant contributions of international education, stimulate cultural understanding and highlight the diversity of cultural events on campus and in the neighborhood.
Those interested in participating or have questions can contact Kendee Franklin at klf34@cse.edu. The Center for International Affairs will begin scheduling meetings after the start of fall semester.
Information on last year’s event is available at case.edu/international/IEW_2013/pdfs/IEW_Poster.pdf.
