The Case Association of Student-Athletes (CASA) will host Be The Match, a bone marrow registration drive, Feb. 8 from noon to 4 p.m. in Veale Center. The drive is open to all undergraduate and graduate students.
Be The Match is a website database designed for individuals with life-threatening blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma or other diseases. It connects patients with their donor match for a life-saving marrow or umbilical cord blood transplant. A quick mouth swab will get participants registered in the database and give the chance to possibly save a life.
Read more about Be The Match at marrow.org and check out Case Western Reserve’s page for more information and donation opportunities.
