Join students in the Environmental Heroes program for a rally Oct. 29 in support of landmark Juliana v. U.S. case

On Monday, October 29, 2018, 4:00pm-6:00p.m. a group of middle and high school students in the Environmental Heroes program will be gathering on the plaza of the Carl Stokes Federal Court House to show their support for the landmark lawsuit, Juliana v. U.S. This case will be heard in the 9th District Court beginning October 29th. The basis of the case lies in the rights of youth to have a safe, healthy future and to force the U. S. government to develop and implement a Climate Recovery Plan. The original 21 youth involved in the development of this case will be defending the rights of all youth and future generations.

Groups of students, along with supportive adults, across the country will be holding rallies to not only draw attention to this landmark court case, but to encourage others to take action on climate change. As of this date, this rally is the only one in Ohio.

Join the rally and show your support for a Climate Recovery Plan.
