Join Our Team of Compassionate Volunteers!

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients? We are actively recruiting dedicated individuals for four unique volunteer roles at University Hospitals:

As an Acute Care Activity Cart Volunteer, you will be the bearer of smiles, offering bedside activities, reading materials, and companionship to brighten the day of those in acute care. Your kindness will be a beacon of hope for those facing health challenges. Shifts currently available on Monday and Wednesday mornings and afternoons only.

2. Seidman Cancer Center Infusion Courier Volunteers: Be a crucial part of the journey for cancer patients undergoing treatment at the Seidman Cancer Center. As an Infusion Courier Volunteer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely and safe transportation of medical supplies between departments, contributing to the seamless delivery of care. Your dedication will be a source of support for individuals navigating the complexities of cancer treatment. Shifts are available Monday mornings, Tuesday mornings and afternoons, Wednesday mornings, and Friday mornings.

3. Oncology Care Callback Volunteers: Make a difference in the lives of cancer patients even from a distance. As an Oncology Care Callback Volunteer, your compassionate voice can provide comfort and assurance to patients. Calls remind patients of upcoming appointments. Volunteers can offer a listening ear, answer questions, and provide emotional support to those on their cancer journey. Shifts are available Monday – Friday mornings and afternoons.
