The Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities will host a talk with comic book writer and editor Marc Sumerak, titled “The Craft of Comics: An Insider View.”
Sumerak, who has worked at Marvel Comics for more than a decade, will give an in-depth look into the collaborative art of making comic books and graphic novels. In addition, he’ll provide a candid discussion about his adventures with some of the world’s most recognizable characters, including Spider-Man, the Avengers, the X-Men and more.
The talk, sponsored by the Pop Culture Research Working Group, will be held Oct. 12 beginning at 12:30 p.m. in Clark Hall 206.
