As part of its “Epicurean Adventures” exhibit, Kelvin Smith Library will host a panel discussion titled “Food, Forum, Fun,” Thursday, July 14, at 5:30 p.m. in the library’s Dampeer Room.
The panel is composed of local foodies and culinary writers Elaine Cicora, David Farkas and Mary Sweeney.
They will talk about:
- How food journalism has changed in light of technology;
- How gender plays into food documentation,
- Changes in food and hospitality industry; and
- Their experiences related to food memories.
The “Epicurean Adventures” exhibit offers a look at the evolution of cookbooks and food-related texts as documents of history, culture, gender and sustainability.
