Freedom of Choice Cleveland Coalition (FOCC), comprised of several local and statewide organizations concerned about preserving reproductive rights, is hosting “Roe Together,” an evening of education and activism on reproductive choice. The event will take place at SEIU Local 1199’s Cleveland offices, located at 1771 East 30th Street in downtown Cleveland. The evening begins with a panel discussion featuring Rabbi Robert Nosanchuk, attorney Jennifer Branch, Ohio House Representative Stephanie Howse, and Preterm’s Outreach and Advocacy Coordinator Mallory McMaster. The speakers will address the moral, legal, legislative, and practical consequences of recent attacks on reproductive rights, as well as providing insights on how to respond effectively through direct action. Following the discussion, FOCC partner organizations and other progressive groups will host advocacy stations, where guests will be invited to engage in educational and advocacy activities around these issues.
Guests are asked to pay what they can, and tickets are available through Eventbrite: http://bit.ly/2isXEdE
