The Food Recovery Network is looking for volunteers to help the organization fight waste and eliminate hunger by donating excess food from campus to various soup kitchens in the Cleveland area.
The group picks up food from Einstein Bros. Bagels, Panera Bread and campus dining locations managed by Bon Appetit Management Co. Each week they donate food and serve at St. Matthew’s.
There will be a volunteer training meeting for anyone who wants to get involved Thursday, Jan. 28, at 7:30 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center’s Senior Classroom. Refreshments will be provided.
