Peter de Blank, assistant professor of pediatrics, was named one of two winners of the inaugural Francis S. Collins Scholars Program in Neurofibromatosis Clinical and Translational Research, sponsored by the Neurofibromatosis Therapeutic Acceleration Program at Johns Hopkins University.
The program seeks to recognize expert clinician-scientists and create a community, while helping them to become leaders of research and clinical care in neurofibromatosis type 1.
De Blank was honored at a ceremony in Washington, D.C., June 10.
