Cleveland’s dynamic decade, 1912-22, can teach us a lot today
The Plain Dealer: The decade beginning in 1912 brought Cleveland some of its most precious institutions, including the West Side Market, the Cleveland Foundation, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Cleveland Clinic and much more. “It was just an unbelievable decade,” said John Grabowski, the Krieger-Mueller Associate Professor in Applied History. “It was one of those times when everything came together.”
