Mandel School’s Kathleen Farkas presents at annual Polish social work symposium

Kathleen FarkasKathleen Farkas, associate professor at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, presented a plenary speech titled “Why substance abuse assessment and treatment should be included in social work training” at the Polskiego Stowarzyszenia Szkół Pracy Socjalnej’s (Polish Association of Schools of Social Work) 23rd annual meeting in Gdańsk, Poland, on Oct. 25.

The conference was co-hosted by the University of Gdańsk and the Institute of Sociology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
