Information Technology Services will be conducting scheduled maintenance on an important campus server (AuroraP) on Friday, Oct. 19, from 2 to 6 a.m. During that time, several technology resources will be unavailable. They include:
- the Software Center (softwarecenter.case.edu)
- the website administrator’s toolkit (case.edu/webservices/index.html)
- the list of ITS Services found (help.case.edu and case.edu/its/ourservices)
- the Encyclopedia of Cleveland History (ech.cwru.edu)
The planned maintenance is part of a broader project that will upgrade several campus servers to RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) with Oracle Data Guard. The upgrade will result in improved availability and scalability of applications that reside on the servers.
