Members of the university community are invited to take part in the It’s on CWRU initiative’s summer “Healthy Relationships Workshop,” Thursday, July 14, from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom.
Too often we focus on the negatives in life, including risk factors for “bad” relationships. In this workshop, organizers flip the script and talk about relationships from their strengths.
They’ll focus on a variety of relationships, not just sexual or romantic partners, and work through boundary setting, trust, communication, and the role power plays in relationships. Join to learn more about how you can strengthen your relationships and improve your communication skills.
Content warning: Although this workshop does focus on the healthy aspects of relationships we do discuss various topics that may be impactful to some participants. Topics include harassment, stalking, sexual harassment and/or abuse. We do review resources and support for anyone impacted by these topics, and we encourage you to be aware of your needs and space when attending this workshop.
