“Israel at 75: Golden Years or Midlife Crisis?”

Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to join the Siegal Lifelong Learning Program for an upcoming remote lecture in recognition of Israel’s 75th birthday Wednesday, Feb. 1, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Sara Hirschhorn, a 2022-23 research fellow at the ADL Center for Antisemitism Research and an instructor at Rutgers University, will present “Israel at 75: Golden Years or Midlife Crisis?”

This lecture will examine Israeli, Jewish, and Zionist history, exploring the demographic, domestic, regional, and international challenges facing both the State of Israel and its diverse polity.

How the recent Israeli election results reflect (and refract) the concerns of Israelis in 2023 also will be addressed.

This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of Jewish Lifelong Learning Endowment Fund, Jewish Federation of Cleveland.

Register to attend.
