Is your child nearsighted (myopic) and interested in wearing contact lenses?

University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center is conducting a research study to test the ability of an investigational soft contact lens to help kids see clearly and slow the progression of nearsightedness.

If your child is 7 to 12 years old, and has or is experiencing symptoms of nearsightedness, they may be eligible to participate. Your child must want to wear contact lenses, but does not need to currently wear contact lenses or glasses to participate in this study.

Common symptoms of nearsightedness included blurred distance vision without glasses and contact lenses or the need to move closer to see things clearly.

Study-related procedures, and contact lenses will be provided at no charge to you while your child is part of the study. Study participants will also receive compensation for their time
