The Professional Development Center will offer the first part of the Management Development Series, “Introduction to Your Management Style,” Monday, April 30, from 9 a.m. to noon in Crawford Hall, Room 209.
About the workshop
The session will use the DiSC assessment, an empirical and respected tool to help individuals understand the four types of behavioral styles that people display. By understanding one’s own style and those of others, individuals can more effectively communicate and relate to others and reduce unproductive conflict.
Participants will complete an online self-assessment and receive a detailed report with the survey’s findings and suggestions the day of the session.
Those who participate in the session will identify their preferred behavioral style, along with potential strengths and challenges, as well as all of the various behavioral styles and understand how to adapt their behavior accordingly.
The Management Development Series is open to all staff and faculty in supervisory roles and those who aspire to hold management positions in the future.
Register through the Professional Development Center online calendar.
