“Intersections: Celebrating Black LGBTQ+ Narratives”

The Alumni Association of Case Western Reserve University invites members of the community to an engaging panel discussion titled “Intersections: Celebrating Black LGBTQ+ Narratives” in honor of Black History Month Tuesday, Feb. 13, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Linsalata Alumni Center in the Foster Castele Great Hall.

The panel is composed of CWRU alumni and faculty representing the Black and LGBTQ+ communities who will discuss their lived experiences and expertise. They will explore the profound impact of intersectional identities on their journeys, highlighting the resilience and nuances inherent in navigating diverse identities.

Bryan Adamson, the David L. Brennan Chaired Professor of Law, will moderate the discussion.

Light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be provided. This event is intended to foster camaraderie and thoughtful conversation.

The event also will be available via livestream. Those attending in person should dress in business casual attire.
