International students: Learn about dating and relationships in America at Nov. 11 event

For international students, dating on campus can be confusing and difficult due to cultural differences. Find out the context of a healthy vs. unhealthy relationship and how to help yourself or intervene for others at the next International Student Success Series event. This session will be held Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in Sears Hall, Room 464.

The session will address the following questions:

  • What’s the difference between harassment and flirting?
  • How do you set personal boundaries?
  • What does sexual misconduct really mean, and what is included in the definition?

Through the International Student Success Series and other efforts, Case Western Reserve University helps to provide the tools for international student success on campus. This series is an extension of orientation programming and is designed to help international students transition and better understand the social and academic culture at CWRU. Each part of the series is designed to enhance important life skills that it incorporates knowledgeable trainers from across campus.

Free food from a local ethnic restaurant will be available at this event.
