International students: Learn about American food, healthy eating at Nov. 25 event

Do you have questions about Western food culture? What are all the condiments used for? Why is pizza everywhere, and cheese on everything?

Learn about the U.S. culture of food, restaurants and tipping, as well as advice and techniques for healthy and nutritious eating, during the International Student Success Series on “American Food and Your Health” Wednesday, Nov. 25, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in Sears Building, Room 464.

Through the International Student Success Series and other efforts, Case Western Reserve University helps to provide the tools for international student success on campus. This series is an extension of orientation programming and is designed to help international students transition and better understand the social and academic culture at CWRU. Each part of the series is designed to enhance important life skills, and it incorporates knowledgeable trainers from across campus.

Free food from a local ethnic restaurant will be available at this event.
