International graduate students: Register for Spoken English Seminar

This fall, Educational Services for Students (ESS) will give international graduate students have the opportunity to participate in an interactive and engaging seminar to improve their spoken English skills.

The fee-based Spoken English Seminar is a five-week, 10-hour seminar that begins the week of Sept. 14. The class meets for two hours a week and the schedule will be created based on student availability.

The seminar, which will allow for small and large group discussion, will cover the following topics:

  • Listening skills
  • Pronunciation
  • Presentation skills
  • Vocabulary
  • Culture
  • Idioms

To register, visit ESS in Sears Hall, Room 470, by Sept. 11.
