International Education Week

This year has brought plenty of questions and concerns for international students studying in the United States. So, as the nation celebrates International Education Week Nov. 13–17, Case Western Reserve University will celebrate diversity and inclusion.

The Center for International Affairs has chosen “You Are Welcome Here” as the theme for this year’s International Education Week, highlighting the ongoing #YouAreWelcomeHereCWRU campaign that kicked off following the executive orders on immigration in January.

International students make up more than 19 percent of CWRU’s student body, representing 80 countries from Argentina to Zimbabwe. They bring new perspectives to campus, and help CWRU create an environment that promotes global citizenship.

All week long, Bon Appetit Management Co. will feature international cuisine around campus. Anyone who shares moments from International Education Week on social media with #YouAreWelcomeHereCWRU will be entered into a drawing to win a Mitchell’s Ice Cream gift card and a T-shirt.
