The International Center for Autism Research and Education has received $38,000 from Eastlake Middle School over the past eight years, as the school’s student council regularly hosts fundraising dances for the center.
This year, David E. Biegel, the Henry L. Zucker Professor of Social Work Practice, professor of psychiatry and sociology, and a Mt. Sinai Catalytic Autism Research Awardee, accepted the check on the center’s behalf.
