David Fleshler, vice provost for international affairs, was featured in a webinar sponsored by the Center for China and Globalization on April 17.
The webinar, which included speakers from universities in the U.S. and China, focused on COVID-19’s impact on international education. During the discussion, Fleshler identified some of the challenges faced by universities during the pandemic, and how social distancing may impact on-campus housing and classroom learning. He also discussed the future of international education and COVID-19’s implications on the fundamental operations of higher education.
