Global Cleveland gets the word out about international hiring
Crain’s Cleveland Business (subscription required): David Fleshler, vice provost for international affairs and board chair of Global Cleveland, contributed to a story on how hiring international employees can be streamlined, countering the belief that the process can be difficult. Fleshler recommended two programs that allow international students to work on their existing educational visas, allowing businesses and foreign-born workers to mutually benefit, as well as the region. “This could help drive us to once again become a community of destination for international people,” he said.
