Internal grants available for research on Internet of Things

The CWRU Vice President for Research and Technology Management, in collaboration with the Case School of Engineering Dean’s Office, announces a campuswide internal grant competition to seed research ideas around the emerging field of the Internet of Things (IoT).

One-year planning grants of up to $10,000 are available for projects in the following areas:

  • Smart cities,
  • Manufacturing,
  • Health care,
  • Energy and
  • Crosscutting areas.

Three-page proposals are due Jan. 22.

Individuals can learn more about this internal grant at one of three information sessions, which will be held:

  • Dec. 5 from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center Senior Classroom;
  • Dec. 6 from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center Senior Classroom; or
  • Dec. 11 from 8 to 9 a.m. in Adelbert Hall, Room M2.
