Additional interest sessions to be held for Employee Resource Groups

On July 18, the LGBT Center, Human Resources and the Office of Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity held an interest session for Case Western Reserve University employees to discuss participation in the LGBT Employee Resource Group. In addition to this session, the offices are hosting three additional interest sessions:

  • July 31: Latino/a Employee Resource Group;
  • Aug. 2: African American Employee Resource Group;
  • Aug. 3: Caregiver Employee Resource Group.

The July 31 and Aug 3 sessions will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in Adelbert Hall, mezzanine level, room 3; the Aug. 2 session will be held in Thwing Center’s Cleveland Room.

CWRU employee resource groups are designed to engage, develop and connect staff as the university strives to create a welcoming environment where differences are respected and celebrated. These employee-driven groups will support retention and actively engage in promoting an inclusive environment that will enable staff members to contribute fully to the university’s success.

All CWRU employees interested in assisting the university in creating a welcoming environment and supporting retention and engagement are welcome to attend.

Lunch will be provided. For more information and to RSVP, contact Melissa Burrows at mkb51@case.edu.
