Major art museum opens in unlikely place: Arkansas
Associated Press: Alice Walton, an heir to the Wal-Mart fortune, amassed a collection of art masterpieces, and now they’re going on display in the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. It’s a “sort of instant museum” that ranks “somewhere between the top and the middle” of American museums, said Henry Adams, professor of art history.
