As part of the third annual Innovation Week, all are invited to tour the Interactive Commons. Attendees can sign up for limited availability time slots (each tour lasts approximately one hour), during which time they will get to visit the space, hear about the history of the center and its projects to date, as well as participate in an extended reality (XR) demonstration of CWRUXR (pronounced “Cruiser”)—the Interactive Commons’ new platform that allows users to rapidly prototype in 3D.
This is one of eight tour stops featured in Innovation Week this year. If you make it to at least six of the tour locations, you’ll be entered into a raffle. Prizes include gift cards, T-shirts, CWRU swag and mentoring sessions.
The Interactive Commons is located at 11111 Euclid Ave. and has an exterior entrance on the back of the Thwing Center (northwest corner)—look for a large glass enclosure with concrete stairs leading down—just across from the Tinkham Veale University Center Koch Entrance.)
