Informational meeting for Women Staff Leadership Development Institute set for April 15

Women professional staff are invited to attend an informational meeting about the Women Staff Leadership Development Institute (WSLDI) April 15 from noon to 1:30 in Room LL06 of the Kelvin Smith Library.

The purpose of WSLDI is to provide a university-based resource and support system for women professional staff seeking to further their professional skills, including better communication, more collaboration and the development of trust across university units. The yearlong initiative, which includes a certificate in Women’s Leadership from Weatherhead Executive Education, is designed to complement the supervisory development offerings provided by the Office of Human Resources.

Intended to serve the needs of women in a supportive environment, the enrollment is limited to 12 participants per year.

This program is sponsored by the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women and Weatherhead Executive Education.

Register for the meeting by April 11 at surveymonkey.com/s/WSLDIMTG. A light lunch will be provided at the event.

Applications may be submitted for the program without attending the information meeting, but attendance will provide a more comprehensive view of the program.
