Learn about participating in the three-credit course/service learning experience in Costa Rica over winter break during information sessions Aug. 30–31.
The Department of Bioethics and the Center for Civic Engagement and Learning have teamed up to offer a 12-day experience, Jan. 1-12, 2013, in Costa Rica. The experience will include a three-credit course (approved for global and cultural diversity credit and registration for spring semester) on comparative health care systems and a service learning experience.
Informational meetings will be held Aug. 30 and 31 from 12:30 to 1 p.m. in Thwing Center Meeting Room A about this and other short-term study abroad opportunities.
The experience, and the information sessions, is open to all students.
