Case Western Reserve University, Social Security Administration and the Ohio Department of Insurance will host events to help faculty and staff understand their options under Social Security and Medicare. All CWRU employees are invited to the four instructional workshops to be held Tuesday, Aug. 14.
Social Security
These presentations will offer clear, concise information regarding Social Security retirement, spousal and survivor benefits. Employees with questions about applying for Social Security benefits are encouraged to attend a session at 9 a.m. in Biomedical Research Building, Room 105, or at 2 p.m. in Crawford Hall, Room 209.
Medicare
The Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program, the state’s official source for free, unbiased Medicare information and counseling, will present these sessions. Information provided will help new and soon-to-be beneficiaries understand the basics of Medicare. Sessions will be held at 10 a.m. in Crawford Hall, Room 209, and 1:30 p.m. in Biomedical Research Building, Room 105.
Registration is not needed to attend the events.
