Students are invited to an informal information session on a new short-term study abroad course in Brazil to be offered during the fall. The information session will be held Friday, April 13, from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. in the School of Medicine, Room TA200.
Students can attend the session to learn about this unique opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of the social and public health challenges regarding water security in Brazil.

About the course
Through field experiences in the capital city of Salvador and the rural town of Ubaíra, students will immerse themselves in interdisciplinary perspectives on the public health, scientific, political and bioethical dimensions of water quality and access. Faculty from the Case Western Reserve University Department of Bioethics and the Center for Global Health and Diseases will facilitate this immersive experience with the Brazilian Ministry of Health, the Federal University of Bahia, the Bahiana School of Medicine and Public Health, and Brazilian graduate student participants.
This course is open to undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students from any discipline.
