The Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing will host the inaugural Summit on Leadership and Quality Improvement Thursday, Oct. 19, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at The Glidden House.
In this interdisciplinary, action-oriented conference, you will engage with internationally recognized thought leaders to explore leadership and quality improvement strategies that will help to accelerate organizational and systems performance in your organization.
The keynote speakers are:
- Bruce J. Avolio, the Mark Pigott Chair in Business Strategic Leadership, executive director of the Center for Leadership & Strategic Thinking at the Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington; and
- Maria Shirey, professor and chair of the Department of Acute, Chronic and Continuing Care at The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing.
The cost to participate in the summit will be:
