“In Conversation: Derrick Adams and Ellen Rudolph”

Join the Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities on Saturday, April 9, at 2 p.m. in the Cleveland Museum of Art’s (CMA) Gartner Auditorium for “In Conversation: Derrick Adams and Ellen Rudolph.”

In his vibrant paintings, collages, sculptures and installations, Adams probes the dynamic ways in which identity and personal narrative intersect with American popular culture, art history, consumerism and the Black experience. Hear Adams discuss his debut exhibition in Cleveland and his multidisciplinary practice with Rudolph, curator and senior director of Cleveland Clinic’s art program.

The event is part of the 2022 Cleveland Humanities Festival: DISCOURSE, and sponsored by CMA.
