Footlighters win, IMPROVment takes second place at Student Organization Spirit Day

Case Footlighters, Case Western Reserve’s musical theater group, took first place in the second Student Organization Spirit Day, held March 21.

The spirit day encouraged campus organizations to take part in competitive, spirited activities—from three-legged races to egg hunts, trivia competitions to parachute-drop contests.

IMPROVment—Case Western Reserve University’s comedic improvisation group—took second place.

IMPROVment has risen in popularity on campus as it puts on shows every Saturday at the Black Box Theater. The group recently hosted the third annual Lake Effect improv comedy festival, which featured comedy groups from Canton, Cleveland, Oberlin College, Ohio State University and CWRU. Undergraduate Student Government, University Media Board and the Class Officer Collective sponsored the event, organized by the Student Leadership Journey Council.
