Once again, hundreds of students, faculty, and staff will don green headbands and armbands to participate in the campuswide game of Humans vs. Zombies. “HvZ” is a 24-hour, 10-day outdoor game of tag in the style of a Zombie Apocalypse. Players on the Human team carry Nerf blasters while players on the Zombie team try to tag them. All Case Western Reserve University students and employees are invited to participate.
Last year, more than 300 students and faculty participated in HvZ. The spring game was also featured in the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Registration for Humans vs. Zombies will begin Saturday, Oct. 1, at 5 p.m. outside Leutner Commons.
There will be registrations on Oct. 2-3 in the dining halls at dinnertime and on the Quad during lunch.
Come join the hourlong orientation game outside Leutner Commons on Oct. 1 at 6 p.m.; registration for the full game begins at 5 p.m.
There is a mandatory rules meeting for all participants Oct. 4 at 6 p.m. in Strosacker Auditorium. Dinner will be provided. Registration will close at that time.
