Human Resources offers webinars for faculty, staff; first program to focus on building resilience

The Professional Development Center (PDC), part of Human Resources, will provide learning opportunities through webinars for Case Western Reserve University faculty and staff. Webinars are a great way to learn more about a topic and increase your knowledge and skills.

The first webinar will be offered Oct. 25 from 10 to 11 a.m. on the topic of building resilience.

Busy schedules at work and home, as well as the constant pace of change, can create situations where it is difficult to be your best. But what is resilience and how do we get it or lose it? Join host Michelle Lampton and presenter Robert M. Hall, both of the PDC, as Hall explores these questions while taking a look at the science behind becoming more resilient.

Based on the research and technology of HeartMath, this webinar will look at some simple techniques you can practice that have been shown to decrease your negative stress response, increase creativity and inspire innovation.
