“How to Deal with Difficult People”

IMPACT Solutions Employee Assistance Program and the Office of Human Resources will host a free one-hour supervisory training class, “How to Deal with Difficult People,” on Friday, Feb. 14, at 9 a.m. in Biomedical Research Building, Room 105.

Although the class is geared to supervisors, all staff and faculty are welcome to attend.

The workshop is designed to assist individuals in the workplace falling victim to difficult peoples’ dysfunctions. The key outcomes of this workshop are to understand common types of difficult people, identify competencies needed to deal with difficult people, develop strategies when having difficult conversations and understand how to plan effective strategies to deal with difficult people in the workplace.

Registration for the event and more information is available through the Office of Human Resources’ Professional Development Center website.
