“How to Be a Respectable Junkie”

Based on the true story of a man from Northeast Ohio who overcame heroin addiction, “How to Be a Respectable Junkie” is a humorous, heartbreaking, but ultimately hopeful look into the heroin epidemic plaguing our country. The play is written by Greg Vovos, lecturer in theater and performed by Christopher M. Bohan, instructor in theater.

There will be a free public performance on Thursday, Feb. 20, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Parma-Snow Branch of the Cuyahoga County Library. The play is 75 minutes long and will be followed by a talkback with playwright, actor, and the man the play is based on.
