“How I’ve Found Personal and Professional Satisfaction as an Independent Solo Physician”

The Center for Community Health Integration invites the Case Western Reserve community to the 2023 Wisdom of Practice Lecture: “How I’ve Found Personal and Professional Satisfaction as an Independent Solo Physician.” The event will take place at 4 p.m. on Oct. 12, at the Health Education Campus, or attendees can plan to attend via Zoom. There will be a reception following the lecture.

Dr. Ed Bujold, a practicing family physician in Granite Falls, North Carolina, and chief physician strategist for KPN Health, will discuss the rewards that independent private practice brings to his professional and personal life, and how personal values and the autonomy of private practice have helped him as a physician, learner, and innovator. He’ll discuss the joys, challenges, and opportunities in independent patient- and community-focused practice.
