More stroke patients get clot-busting drugs
Reuters: Doctors at hospitals that participate in the “Get with the Guidelines—Stroke” program from the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association are getting better at prescribing recommended drugs to stroke patients. “Hospitals participating in this program improved their ability to deliver appropriate stroke care,” said School of Medicine professor William Lewis.
